Introduction
Nurses are among the professionals most in demand in the U.S. today. This is the result of a number of factors including aging of the population of the United States changes in the practices of health care, and because of a shortage of qualified nurses at the doctoral level. The choice of a career in nursing offers many benefits including job stability, opportunities for specialization or a variety of fields, and the chance to contribute significantly to the lives of others.
A training course will allow a student to become a registered nurse state. Training to become a graduate of State is often available at vocational schools, hospitals or community colleges. Nurses at this level usually work under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This level of study can take only one year. At the end of the course students are required to pass the licensure examination of the National Council for practicing nurses. The designation or professional nursing practice is considered the entry level of a nurse. They are directly involved in patient care and perform tasks in the scope of their training and experience. These responsibilities may range from simple tasks to complex procedures including medication given, the graphic recording of information help with surgeries, care planning, first aid and other basic care.
