Abstract

This piece of study aims to talk about the influences that psychology can have on the body, mind, and spirit in modern life. The motive here is to limelight that how a person's mind, body, and spirit function in a modern day life. Moreover, the paper aims to focus and discuss four primary goals including describing the behavior, determining the cause of behavior, and understanding the behavior. After the establishment of the earliest spiritual beliefs and religions, and the dawn of civilization, there were numerous priests and spiritual leaders who were responsible for making their people a mental wellbeing in the society. Curing the human mind is one of the most critical aspects of the spiritual paths. So, the motive of this piece of study is to highlight all the facts and findings related to the topic of psychological influences in modern life of people.

How does psychology influence the body, mind, and spirit in modern life?

Introduction

One of the main objectives of psychology is to describe the critical facts that are related to the inner life of humans, as well as, the relationships that they have with the outer world. Similar to all other sciences, the facts in psychology also do not exist in isolation from those of the theoretical perspectives of numerous scientists. It is one of the most important psychological necessities that the mind of humans tends to impose numerous structures on phenomena. In this regard, one can say that another most crucial task of psychology is to organize the observed data into coherent and logical systems that can be applied practically. Research has proven that the body and soul (mind) are one part nor parcel, with no room to doubt that the psychological and emotional status of the person affect the status of membership, and physical, which in turn affect the mind and mental state again. For example, to be fired from his job or going through the events of pressure may lead to many physical disorders, such as digestive problems, high blood pressure, insomnia and many other problems. Moreover, these problems may lead to double the pressure, state of anxiety, and depression.

One problem that plagues the modern-day behavioral and social sciences is how experiences in development get inside the person so as to affect basic neurobiological processes related to brain development and behavior. The relatively late tradition of integrating experience, brain development, and systemic biological processes and behavior replaces the more segmented view of the person as developing in separate biological and behavioral domains. The philosophical distinction between mind and body in Western thought can be traced back to the Greeks, but the seminal work of René Descartes is the first systematic thesis of the mind-body relationship. Until recently, in the tradition of Descartes, experience, mind, and body were not integrated in contemporary developmental models as inherently interconnected because psychological processes tended to be considered something separate from neurobiological processes.
