Global Poverty is one of the world's most pressing contemporary problems. Hence, it is very important topic in International Relations. Of the total world population, nearly three billion people have been found to be living under $2.50 a day. Poverty as a general characterization obscures the different realities: the "always poor", the "new poor", the "working poor", the "poor unemployed "the vulnerable", “the excluded" among others. Introduction

Of the various problems faced by the world today such as terrorism, economic downfall, regime changes in several countries, wars, Trade agreements, reforms, political issues, Epidemics and others, global poverty is one issue that is faced not only at the macro level but also at the micro level. According to the definition given by Word Bank, poverty is essentially marked by low income whereby a person is unable to acquire the basic services such as healthcare, housing, and others that are essential for the human survival. It also includes that a person who lacks the opportunities to better his life conditions is poor.
