This paper tends to focus on the importance of arts in the educational system and more specifically the importance of music in the educational system. This paper would throw light on the importance of music and through various perspectives. However in the end an attempt would also be made to craft out a meaningful conclusion.

Why Music Should Not Be Cut Out of the School Systems
Introduction
Today we tend to live in a world where the humans by each passing day are being surrounded by the increasing number of computer controlled devices, irrespective of its form. In today's world, the idea of humanity seems to diminish just because we have left too much work for computers and thus have ignored humans. All educational institutes whether school, colleges or universities are now shifting their focus towards the studies which tends to cater to computers, hence, gradually eliminating any form of humanity if left in the society. Have we ever realized that, despite the progress, the science has achieved hence taking the technology to entirely new level, why we humans tend to be desperate at times. Despite of having every facility why can't we respite mentally? The answer is quite simple, we humans are gradually eliminating humanity from the society, and hence the people can't relate to each other, they can't relax mentally (Rose, p.227).
Today we tend to work like machines, but have we realized whom are we working for? Why are working if we can't have the mental and spiritual contentment, why are we slowly and gradually forgetting our culture? Today we are trying to take arts out of our educational system without realizing the consequences it would have on our culture and society. To be specific the target, today is music honestly music has never been accepted as the form of art in our curriculums. Many attempts have been made to throw it out of the educational system, however, many researchers have been done in the past which tends to side with opinion that the music in the educational system is necessary to keep the mind of students calm. However, a recent survey, which catered to, 7500 universities concluded that those students who took music seriously were able to score much higher marks in subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Math and other major subjects(Sargeant,p.611).
