Today we are faced with many dilemmas which are almost impossible to solve .There are many issues for which we have such strong arguments for and against them, and, it's very hard to make a decision that what is right and what is wrong? Of the many controversial issues abortion is one controversy that we face in today's society .Abortion is the death of a child in the womb produced during any time period ranging from fertilization (union of egg and sperm) to the time prior to birth (MedlinePlus, n.d.). We talk about abortion spontaneous when death results from any defect or malfunction was not anticipated or desired by the mother and induced abortion (which is what is generally understood when speaking simply of abortion) when the baby's death is attempted in any way: domestic, chemical or surgical. In the medical sense it corresponds to the initial two quarters, however for legal purposes and in cases of severe malformations may eventually surpass those dates.
Discussion
Termination of pregnancy, whether natural or induced, is followed by the expulsion of gestational products through the birth canal, and may be preceded by loss of blood through the vagina (Stubblefield, P. G., et al., 2004). The problem in this controversy lies in the different aspects of the argument, the ethical dilemmas involved in this issue are so closely intertwined that it is very hard to distinguish one from another. The scientific evidence that human is an embryo is a false statement because biology enables us to describe what exactly happens in the different stages of embryonic development. By cons, what are the characteristics that make the man, the human person, what is the moral value of embryonic life in comparison with other values, these are ethical and philosophical that science cannot answer. Usually abortion takes place within 24 weeks of pregnancy except for the cases when a woman's life is in danger. The fetus is not a life but just a collection of different types of tissues for at least the first 24 weeks of pregnancy. It is not possible to define the precise moment when "human life" starts because it is a process. Life does not begin at some point; it is given from generation to generation. Each fertilized egg and each sperm is alive and "human" (Debate.org, 2012).
They each contain half the chromosomes and hereditary traits of a future embryo. Each of these cells is unique and differs genetically from all other eggs and sperm. At fertilization, two gametes unite genetically unique. This process takes 24 hours. Then the fertilized egg begins to divide. The new genome becomes active at the stage from April to August cells, that is to say over 2-3 days.
The abortion can be seen from a women's perspective as well which highlights the importance of understanding that a woman may never be considered to have freedom if she does not have any control over her own body. The choice of physical suffering due to pregnancy must primarily rest ...
