Introduction

Education in today's world has immense importance. People are now focusing to provide their children with the best of education that ensures that the children have an effective environment and efficient teacher, to provide them knowledge in all fields and make learning interesting for the students. It is important to understand the application of what has been learned. Efforts have been made since many years, to improve the outcomes of learning, by people that were involved in bringing improvements researched for the best available resources and a range of method that would make learning interesting and effective (Astin, 2012). Education does not only benefit the individual but is advantageous for the society as a whole, as it helps in the development of economy and improves the standard of living. However, teachers are required to have an effective communication and improved way of teaching that will make the student grasp the knowledge of the subject being taught effectively. Professional development requires a continuous supply of training to enable people to acquire the skills necessary for the exercise of their professional work. However, we also need the emotional care and to encourage processes of reflection and innovation to prevent the demoralization of teachers. This care must be particularly strong with those who perform their duties in the most disadvantaged social contexts.

The Role of Philosophy in Curriculum

To philosophize regarding education, is to deal with real and pressing issues about educational policymaking, and educational applications. It requires embedding in the practice of learning and in the details and justifications of that practice (Astin, 2012). The importance of that can be viewed from the consideration of a dissimilar query, which might have formed the review; namely, what level of education is needed for the economic success? In the end, that seems to be the hidden question behind various changes, which are affecting the training and education of the younger generation.

When discussing teaching and learning, one thing should be kept in consideration, that no matter which of them the key concern is, both teaching and learning shall be considered and used interchangeably when discussing about amends made and improvements undertaken towards a particular objective or area of expertise (Astin, 2012). For attempting proper and efficient teaching towards children and students of all ages and areas, mastering the skills requires innate and iterated practice (Gestwicki, 2010). Initially the most highly practiced form of education was rather bureaucratic; initially the methods that had been undertaken for the practice and application of intending education to students was strict and rigid; children had a hard time making their points clear in front of their elders, teachers and seniors from whom they were studying.
