Is the problem or hypothesis clearly stated?

The first step of any research is to identify a subject area of research and design a clear objective within it to do further study on that particular research. Secondly, after getting secondary data from different sources on a similar subject has to be critically reviewed. To carry out proper research an ideal person has to be defined, out of which, a sample has to be dispatched for survey by different sources.

This research study has a clear hypothesis i.e. to investigate the prevalence of violent or threatening behavior experienced by staff working in CIDTs and to consider how current training matches need. The variety of behaviors that can be included in the category 'violence at work' is so broad, the line between acceptable behavior is sometimes so diffuse and perception, in different contexts and cultures of what constitutes violence work is so diverse, that it a huge challenge for us to describe and define this phenomenon.

In practice, violence in the workplace can include a wide range of behaviors, often continuing and overlapping, as illustrated below. Those who in the course of their working lives have never experienced or have witnessed one of these behaviors are a very small, lucky minority. Internal violence is exercised within a company by a person or group of persons, owner or not a hierarchical authority, against other employees. They include cases of harassment and / or sexual. They can also take the form of verbal abuse or insults, bullying, intimidation, physical attacks or conflicts between employees. In isolation, many such activities can sometimes seem inconsequential. But their repeated daily can seriously affect employees and have a significant impact on their health, physical and psychological. They can also degrade the social climate of the company.

The deterioration of labor relations they entail quite frequently relies on malfunctions or organizational problems. The lack of social support, solidarity, power-cons in the company also plays a role, both on the occurrence of such violence and the employees' ability to cope. Internal violence is part of what we call psychosocial risks. Their prevention is based on an approach similar to that described for stress at work. It can be implemented with the involvement of management, coaching and employee representatives. This is a process that involves a preliminary diagnosis, the establishment of a group project, a thorough diagnosis, a performance feedback, developing and implementing an action plan and monitor actions. For urgent situations, faster responses are to offer employees in trouble. Possible stakeholders are the occupational physician, the line manager, human resources, and employer and employee representatives.

Research Design

The primary data collected for this research study included questionnaires and interviews. The questions were close ended helped the researcher to get answers on the precise areas. The questionnaire also helped the researcher for giving clarifications and allowing them to express their opinions freely & give the researcher an opportunity to obtain information that was useful for this research study. The data helped the researcher in identifying the patterns, develop explanations & test hypotheses. The data via questionnaire helped the researcher to collect ...
