Introduction

The car history has begun in ancient times with a profession of coachmen and carriers. In France the first, so-called, the car has appeared in 17 century. There were horse crews which one enterprising Frenchman has organized on the inn near a chapel of the St. Fiacre. Later, in 1896 people have decided to make motorized «fiacres”, without horses. They have removed shafts; have established the petrol engine behind, and near a seat of the driver - a steering column and control levers.
