Introduction
There are numerous components that have caused the juvenile delinquency rate to boost over the last 50 years. In 1997-1998, 53 per hundred of youth misdeeds were house related offences, 20 per hundred were charged with violent assault, and 27 per hundred were ascribed with secondary crimes (Myths about Youth Crimes). Although the rate of youth misdeeds decreased in 1993, “violent misdeeds pledged by youth…doubled between 1986 and 1992, increasing faster than the mature person violent misdeed rate” (The advancement of Canada's young kids) (Warren,2007, pp. 393). Fortunately, Professor Peter Carrington, who studied juvenile crimes for 20 years, claims that the murder rates by youth have decreased significantly; however, many common violent assaults are increasing. The widespread determinants of youth crime are lone parenting, poverty, communal exclusion and homelessness.

Qualitative research will be used for proposed study. Qualitative research is more subjective as compared to quantitative research and uses very different methods of collecting information which could be both primary and secondary. As already mentioned this study will choose the secondary method. The theme of this type of research will be investigative along with open-ended(Warren, 2006, p79).
This type of research is often less expensive than outlines and is extremely effective by acquiring information. It is often the method of choice in the examples where quantitative measurement is not required.
Review of the literature One of the grave difficulties that determinants youth misdeeds to boost is lone parenting. In 1994, 61 percent of single parents worked outside of home, and their children, under 18, were unsupervised (The Progress of Canada's Children). Also, “Canada has no national child care system with set standards for fees and quality of services; as a result, the quality of regulated child-care programs is uneven across the country” (The Progress of Canada's ...
