True love is something that can happen no matter the circumstances of the situation. Thihs story is about a muslim Palestinean girla and a jewish Israeli boy. The muslim girl is Saira and Israeli boy is David. Saira and David's relationship is between passionate love and conformation to social norms. This relationship show the traditional roles of men and women from the past of Palestine and Israel and how love is sometimes blinded by things such as money, control, and the want to be accepted in society. Although from a different time and culture, the moral lessons and themes from this relationship can be compared to the other love stories. It is found that the women in each of the Palestine love stories have the power and influence of her scarifies even her own life foe the sake of her true love.

Jerusalem is a city of contrasts and religious conflicts, where Arabs, Jews, Christians and Muslims all mix but seldom mingle. This is where David, a young Israeli man, and Saira, a beautiful Palestinian Muslim girl, meet and fall in love. But in a volatile land that is steeped in tradition and soaked in blood, their love is forbidden.

Saira and David were met in restaurant and a relation was beginning that unlike any have heard about the state of affairs like this relations.
