The paper addresses a bitter reality of American history. A detailed history of a Native American nation has been discussed in this paper. Amongst those numerous cultural groups, was a prominent social sphere known as Cherokee. The Cherokee nation is believed to be the settler or dweller of the southern region of the country which is primarily now known as Georgia, Tennessee and Carolina, besides Kentucky. Cherokee tribe is not confined to only one language, in fact, according to the history the tribesmen communicate in almost three languages depending on their region of origination. Historians believe that the by early 18th century the settlers kept on mounting their population both via giving births and migrating in to the regions. The US government kept on deceiving and forcing the Cherokee population to sign the original treaties in order to exchange their existing lands for the lands in Oklahoma. General Scott along with his 7000 men arrived, to supervise and mobilize the migration. Historians believe that the real player behind this mass and violent movement was the American president Jackson. They were forced to migrate and march over thousands of miles. These migrations claimed many lives and left an indelible impact on the minds of the survivors. Trail Of Tears
