WTO Committee reviews safeguard actions

On 27 April 2012, the committee on Safeguardsreviewed 26 safeguard actionstaken by WTO members since October 2011. Six of these actions were from Turkey and five were from Indonesia. However, several members expressed their concern over some safeguard investigations. These included the investigation of Brazil on wine, the investigation of Egypt on textile, and the investigation of Israel on wool rock and glass wool.
