ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to test the presumed assumptions illustrated in research hypothesis. According to different sources, it can be stated that in the game of football, the performance of players is strongly correlated with mental and physical fitness of the sportsmen. In this scenario, physical fitness refers to biological fitness and metabolic of individuals. In addition, BMI score representing the sportsmen also possess significant importance in depicting performance of sportsmen. Furthermore, mental fitness refers to adequate mental state. To the mental fitness of sportsmen, stress and depression are the two main enforcers' factors. The statistical and secondary research findings depicted that there is less variations and mean suggested that all the participants fitness are reliable to test by these tests. The findings depicted that football players perform better when they are physically fit, continuity of anaerobic power and field-tests at training increases the performance of the players and football specific tests are reliable for improving the physical fitness and performance level of football players.

CHAPTER 3: METHODOLOGY
Research Design
Researchers have been using research methodologies to study areas of interest for many years. Quantitative and qualitative are two common research methodologies and both have been used for many years. While these two research designs or designs have been around for and utilized for a while they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. A third common research design is mixed methods. Mixed research is fairly new when compared to quantitative and qualitative research designs and with the increase growth comes reasoning for utilizing a methodology that combines both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative research is not the only methodology that has been critiqued by researchers. Quantitative researchers may believe this leads to subjectivity in the inferences and conclusions of a qualitative study. Quantitative research is a type of educational research in which the researcher decides what to study, asks specific, narrow questions, collects numeric (numbered) data from participants, analyzes these numbers using statistics, and conducts the inquiry in an unbiased, objective manner.
In order to justify and attain the authenticate results, the research design must be chosen appropriately for the study. For exploring the research problem the method of the research study must be suitable for the appropriate data collection. The most complex task for the researcher is to choose that research method that provides authenticated outcome. This is the reason, for this study, mixed method was chosen.
