All of the mentioned the databases selected by bearing in mind the relevancy of these databases with the concerned topic and the quality of the data available in these databases. There is a wide range of research work on the voice problems of teachers and all the accessible and available journals were accessed and included in the study.

The following inclusion criteria were used:

Articles completely published between 1993 and 2006 with quantitative or qualitative methodologies, those that had at least two of the selected descriptors, and those whose abstracts presented the teacher as subject and described this professional's voice disorders.
