Talent management (attract, retain and develop individuals) includes all the processes needed to optimize the organization, performance management, decision and succession planning, selection, targeted evaluation of talent, support and development planning for individuals, career development, planning for the workforce and recruitment. This makes it essential to measure the impact of the work of individuals on organizational performance before establishing a plan for managing talent whatsoever. Talent management is to acquire, retain, motivate and develop (train) the talent an organization needs to operate efficiently and competitively. Retention is identified as the issue of talent management the most important. Talent management is the identification of critical positions in the organization, knowledge and skills required for these positions and the attraction and retention of individuals who fit the profile established. This definition brings a different element: talent as knowledge should not be lost in the transfer of positions or the estate. An integrated approach to management to identify critical positions, noting the type of knowledge and skills necessary for these positions, and then to attract or retain individuals that have the characteristics deemed necessary.

Talent management is a process to incorporate new talent or employees of the company value in addition to seeking retain and develop human resources that exist in the company.
