Introduction

Apple Inc was founded on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Apple Inc is a global company which deals with various consumer products such as personal computers, computer software, and consumer electronics. It also includes the hardware products production such as Macintosh, iPhone, and iPad (Wozniak & Smith, 2006).

Analysis of Vision and Mission Statement

Apple Inc vision and mission statements suggest that the organization`s aim is to develop and deliver best technologies to its valued customers and corporations. Apple Inc strives to make its consumers the masters of the products that they have bought. The organization not only focus on making the statements but it also ensure that its employees must understand the key vision and mission statements and put their efforts for achieving those targets. Secondly, the Apple Inc has implemented an efficient system, which enables smooth interaction with their valued customers. Lastly, the vision and mission statements suggest that Apple Inc have set certain goals and objectives which assist them for moving forward and implement effective strategies for achieving those objectives. Thus, company ensures that they have plan and implement right strategies for achieving marketing, financial and operational goals.

External analysis utilizing Porter's Model

The external environment analysis is conducted through Porter`s five forces model. In case of Apple Inc the model suggest that the competition in terms of suppliers is very high; therefore, the bargaining power of suppliers affect the environment. As the competition is very high, and there are many other retail stores; therefore, customers bargaining power is very high as customers have the option to go for other products. New retail stores are entering in the market bringing threats for the company. Because of new entries in the market, Apple has the threat of arrival of the substitute products in the market. There are extreme chances for arrival of substitute products in the market. Competition is increasing in the market day by day, and the competitive rivalry is increasing for Apple (Porter, 1997). On the Supplier side, Apple is facing with high cost of switching. New Entrant can enter into the market by huge production and can affect the Apple by offering the attractive products at low prices to the consumers.

Political Factors

The main political factors associated with the Apple are the support of local authority charity which is declining immensely. There is a great potential of withdrawal preceding the changes in the political control. There is also need of coordination in the charity agenda. The political factors have greatly influenced the reforms of charity.

Economic Factors

There are some economical factors which can affect the market of Apple. These are the factors through which the purchasing power of the potential clients is affected. The economy has low inflation rate which is considered as the benefit and good sign for the companies (Porter, 1997).
