Introduction
In this paper I am going to attempt to recognise treatment options for patients with dual diagnosis with Borderline Personality Disorder and Substance Abuse issues. These strong emotions and inflexibility are furthermore recognised with Stanford Education “relationships with others are strong but stormy and unstable with assessed moves of feelings and difficulties in maintaining intimate close connections. The person may control others and often has difficulty with trusting each other.” In diagnosing BPD, it is of significance for the therapist to start detecting as early as the first meeting, widespread characteristics of this disorder as glimpsed previously.
