Gender is most commonly defined as the discrimination between male and female because every human being is either male or female (Kessler, & McKenna, 1985, p.1). It is the basic concept associated with it that, either a living being is male or female due to this every living being is to be measured according to this perspective. This is the main reason that creates social and cultural issues regarding these factors. It is also a major concern associated with this concept because all these concepts are generally based on the stereotypical thoughts about the femininity and masculinity. These debates and arguments according to the gender discrimination resulted in the inequalities, considering women as inferior, and suppression of this gender led to the various social reforms and movements (Connell, 2009, p.6-8).
