The main purpose of this paper is to describe a case study which discusses the role of a manager. This case study is about my opinion on a manager's role. As a management consultant, I go to Mr. Bodger for meeting. Everything was in a haphazard way, and a salesman told me that he could not have a meeting with Mr. Bodger since three times. I found Mr. Bodger on the phone, and her secretary was holding another phone for him. A foreman was waiting for his signature in one of a document. After ten minutes, I had a chance to sit with Mr. Bodger.
1. Describe what you think Mr. Bodger is doing wrong.
The main problem with Mr. Bodger's work was his management skills. He was unable to manage his time and his responsibilities. The main thing, which a manager should focus on is the time management. It is necessary for a manager that he should manage his time in a proper way. If he is calling someone for a meeting, then he should manage all his works and stuff before the arrival of that person. There were also some communication problems with Mr. Bodger. As mentioned in the case, Mr. Bodger called the salesman three times for the meeting, but he could not manage to meet him. It was all a problem of mismanagement. He should make a schedule of all his daily tasks and decide that what he has to do at what time. Through this his many problems can be solved.

What kind of people his staff as they are independent and are responsible for their decisions and actions. He could adopt different managerial styles through which he can better solve his ...
