Congruency consequences in selective vigilance jobs are subject to sequential modulation: They are lesser next an incongruent incentive than next a congruent one. This congruency sequence result has been understood as mirroring conflict-driven changes in cognitive command (conflict adaptation) or, on the other hand, episodic recollection consequences of stimulus-response association ( characteristic integration). The present item critically reconsiders support for these competitor anecdotes in the untested publications and talks about the significances thereof for considering behavioral and neural signatures of cognitive command processes.
