Basic Information

Robert Black is a Scottish serial killer. Black is a criminal of murder and kidnapping of the girls. Robert Black is a serial killer which primarily attacks the girls. Girls are the victims of the serial killer Black. Robert Black kidnapped and murder four girls between the ages of 5 years to years.

Robert Black performed these criminal acts between the time periods of 1981 to 1986. All four of these criminal killings were done in the United Kingdom. Robert Black is a psychopath and a number of child killings and murders are still pending or remained unsolved due to him as he is the major suspect of these crimes.

Robert Black has performed various murders among them six are very well known. The first murder he done was on 12th august 1981. Second murder performed by Robert Black was on 30th July 1982. Continuing his series of killing, he murdered third victim on 8th July 1983. Three years later, Robert Black performed another murder which was on 26th March 1986.

Robert Black was been suspected for the disappearance of a girl April Fabb in 1969 and of Genette Tate in 1978. However, he was not charged for them due to lack of evidences. Robert Black was first arrested on 14th July 1990 in Scotland. Robert Black was charged for the murder of three girls in 1988.

In the following month, Robert Black was convicted of kidnapping and he was sentenced to life imprisonment. Black stood in the Newcastle upon Tyne Moot Hall on 13th April 1994 for the trial and on 19th May 1994 he was found guilty on all the charges.

According to the court, Black will remain behind the bars for about 35 years of age (Tozer, 2011). On 16th December 2009, Black was charged for another murder. On 27th October 2011, Black was further given a life sentence by the Armagh Crown Court. This means that Black will be released from the bars when he will be of 89 years of his age.

Aims and Objectives

The aim of this assessment is to analyze about the victim Robert Black. Assessment will be done on the criminal background and his objective towards making the crimes.
