RFID Technology as an Effective Marketing Mix Tool in UAE
Hypothesis
RFID technology benefits the existing marketing mix within the luxury hospitality industry in UAE.
Research Methodology
In this study research methodology illustrated an unbiased objective conclusion to the potential deployment of RFID technology within the hospitality industry, as well as provide tangible steps and guidelines that assist UAE hotels to deviate from the potential moral and ethical implications.
The research will be based on secondary data collection. The data will be extracted from various journals, articles and books. In secondary research data will be extracted from various journals, books and articles.
The research approach that we will use is the keywords of the main objectives. Some of the important keywords that will be used to conduct the search are: RFID, Technology, Marketing Mix, Hospitality Industry, Ethical, Moral, Implications, competitive advantage and so on.
Findings Analysis
It was found that the response rate was not as anticipated. The questionnaire was sent to 150 influential hotels world wide. The questionnaire consisted of 40 responses in total. From the result it is observed that In low season majority of the respondents replied that 70% to 80% of the property was occupied before economic crisis. After economic crisis 4 respondents agree that 70% to 80% of the property was occupied. Whereas before economic crisis 4 respondents said that property occupancy rate in low season is 50% to 60%. Whereas, only 12 respondents said this after economic crisis. In the same way other responses along with percentage range are given were.
