Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is recently creating a lot of buzz in the pervasive computing domain by providing automated information sharing, location tracking and contact less payment. Currently, most of the consumers do not have a way to find their interested products, which may be available in a nearby store at a cheaper price. They have to spend a lot of time to track the product, compare product details with other stores and stand in a line to purchase it. Clearly, there is a need for RFID-based mobile solution that provides m-commerce services to the customers which help them find their interested products in nearby mall and shopping centers whenever they visit them. The objective of this project is to develop a RFID based consumer mobile services package, which links mobile consumers to their desired products. The deliverable solution alerts mobile users about their desirable products whenever they visit nearby retail shop, assists them to locate and purchase those products with RFID enabled mobile devices. The proposed software solution consists of two parts: a) WAP-based RFID enabled commerce services framework, and b) RFID-based e-commerce middleware which provides a common RFID interface to communicate with RFID sensors as well as with the e-commerce server. With this solution, mobile users will be able to locate, track, analyze and purchase a desirable product in a nearby retail shop. Some security solution is also needed here to ensure the user privacy.

Introduction
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has immense value in the current market. It's been rapidly incorporated in healthcare, defense, Manufacturing, packaging and logistic industry for resource tracking and better inventory management. Items can be tracked in real time to reduce delays in transport of items from once place to another which would prove very cost effective. Vendors, retailers and merchants are pushing RFID technology in supermarkets to get better understanding of customer buying trends and target their offerings based on the analysis report and balance the demand /supply ratio. RFID technology has vast potential in commercial cost effective applications using mobile phone integration. RFID-enabled phone users would be able to scan RFID tags on products and get complete information about the product. Moreover, RFID-enabled phones can act as contactless payments card. User can place this phone across the RFID reader that act as a payment terminal to make a payment for his purchase. It can then use underlying payment infrastructure to successfully execute the transaction. [1]
Supply chain management and contactless payment are two different domains in which RFID technology has made tremendous impact. RFID implementation in those domains has lot of benefits but they are restricted to their domains. Domain combination could bring terrific business in the market. There is no such application available in market which could reap the overall benefits of these domains by merging the existing infrastructure of ...
