Introduction

The Coventry University is a British university established in post-1992 located in Coventry in England , United Kingdom . The university, which has about 17,000 students, stands out particularly in the field of engineering and automotive design. The history of Coventry University goes back to 1843 with the creation of Coventry College of Design. In 1970, Coventry College of Art, Lanchester College of Technology and Rugby College of Engineering Technology merged form the Lanchester Polytechnic, in honor of the pioneering English automobile, Frederick Lanchester. In 1987, the institution was renamed Coventry College of Design and in 1992, following the Further and Higher Education Act , it was granted university status and took the final name of Coventry University.

The campus is located in the east of Coventry city center, which can boast the presence of a university library with the most innovative architecture in the United Kingdom. The university, which has about 17,000 students, stands out particularly in the field of engineering and automotive design. The lifestyle for students at the university is certainly ideal. The students all over the world come to study with its old and recognizing reputation. There are various facilities being provided at the campus which makes it certainly different from other universities in London. Sports trips and conferences for students is one of the daily activities of the university which makes its students fresh and ready to meet all the difficulties during their courses.

Aim of the Study

The particular aim of this study is to analyse the competitions prevailing at the university between males and females and also a comparison will be done on the results of the local and international students. The lifestyle variables have also been taken to analyse that whether the students are satisfied with the university facilities or not.

Methodology

The study for the student performance and lifestyle at the Coventry University is based on a survey which was done inside the campus for analysing the true behaviour of the students at the campus. A sample of 100 students was taken from different areas of study and had their perception about the objectives of the study. The inclusion of different departments made the analysis certainly reliable because all the variations can be found which can give us reliable and valid results. The survey contains almost 30 questions which show a solid amount of time was spent on giving the answers of the survey which has certainly shown the interest of the students in the survey.

The analysis has been kept very simple and basic statistics was used for analysing the results like bar charts and scatter plots. A descriptive analysis will also be done to analyse the average age group of the students as well as the average study that students give to their study weekly.
