Scope and nature of the Problem

Scope of this research is to make the readers aware of the fact that drug trafficking is of a serious concern to the United States of America and that they are definitely using new strategies and method to eradicate this crime. This research will also make the readers gain insight concerning which countries or states are contributing towards rising drug trafficking in the United States. Along with this valuable knowledge concerning which agencies are involved in reducing drug trafficking in the United States of America will also be addressed in this research.

Specific Claim

Drug trafficking is rising at an increasing rate in the United States and if conditions prevail it is expected to rise in the near future as well. The rise in drug trafficking is further giving rise to other crimes such as prostitution, robbery, theft and even murder as well. Rise of drug trafficking at an increasing rate in United States. Government is still finding it difficult to completely eradicate this issue mainly due to reasons such as flaws as well as un awareness with respect to eradicate this issue.

This research will cover information that within United States, there are numerous drugs that are found which include methamphetamines, heroin, cocaine, PCP, and marijuana. Penalties attached to drug trafficking may differ, but in majority of places these penalties are aimed to be harsh enough to de motivate individuals from selling drugs. This research paper will provide a highlight of the history concerning how drug trafficking initially came to United Sates which includes that the first drug history of America can be tacked to the 1850s when the Chinese, brought in opium as they began settling to the United States for work purposes which basically include the mines where they were gold.
