Rastafari is named after Prince Ras Tafari Makkonnen, who later became Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie. Main source of the Rastafari religion is the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. Some Rastas also value highly the special books of the Ethiopian Bible. Rastafarianism combines ancient beliefs with influences of African American fundamentalist Christianity, especially of the Baptist Church. This is not a religion, not an organization, there is a 'directory', and Rastafarians do not prove the organized power, which they consider wrong.
