Introduction

Development psychology is basically the science that studies the psychological changes that occur gradually in people as they age, it is also drawn to human development. At first, the study was done to children in early childhood and in later stages of childhood. However, later, other phases without major changes occur, such as during puberty, middle age and old age are also included, so that studies now include the entire duration of human life. The study included the analysis of a wide range of issues such as problem solving skills, motor skills, language skills, the development of identity, conceptual understanding, moral understanding, and other psycho -physiological factors.

A statement of the research problem

The scientists involved in developmental psychology to analyze the key issues such as whether children differ from adults in settled or simply lack the ability of adults to benefit from the experience.

Development psychology is an area complementary to other areas of basic research in psychology such as cognitive development, cognitive psychology, social psychology and comparative psychology. He also informed the different applied fields as child psychopathology, educational psychology, development and forensics.

There are several types of research methods used to study developmental psychology, which are the two main longitudinal research and research section. Development of researchers generally uses two methods to determine how development occurs throughout the entire life of the people.
