Apple was the first to manufacture a touch screen and has recently launched iPhone 5.

Problems related to iPhone 5

Apple is recently facing some problems and issues related to the launch of iPhone 5. The issues are within the phone which customers are addressing to the company and over the internet regarding their concern and dissatisfaction from the product. This has come as a serious problem to apple as the flaws related to the product are damaging the reputation and image of the company. The flaws are related to the camera of the cell phone, the map application is a serious issue and the light leakage in the white iPhone (Tyson, 2012). These problems are causing damage to the company and the consumers using this product are highly unsatisfied because they think that the product is not worth the money. The main issues concerning the iPhone 5 can be discussed as follows

Scratches and scuffs

As soon as iPhone 5 was received by customers through mail they reported that their phone had scuffs right from the box. The clarity of scuffs was more prominent in the phones which had the black model and aluminum body.

After some time customers commented about their phone as the scratches were becoming more visible along the chamfers of the body.

The reported situation was addressed to one of the analyst in Apple and explained that this was due to the body being made with aluminum as the metal is soft and was more open to scratches due to being unprotected. This creates a great chance that the body might get scratches from keys and sharp objects when in the pocket or the daily use.
