The green hue of the character's dress and her face is symbolic of freshness and life with respect to her healthy mental state. In these picture the woman is shown with a hat standing very elegantly and with pride and confidence.

The face looks to be so young, and shows youth but there are no emotions; means there is no smile or sadness. The way her head is erected shows a sign of importance, and honor. Her eyes look very intent, and alert. This painting shows a sweet, elegant, and smart young girl. She doesn't look to be a woman, but no older than 12 or 14. The liveliness, honor, intelligence, and importance are shown on this picture.
