Community Orientated Policing is broadly held as the new and correct method for American policing. For the past ten years the community policing action has been profiting impetus obtaining the support of political leaders, scholars, reformers, and the public. Literature Review Within the implementation of community orientated policing the main concern comprises of laying a sturdy base for the program. Before a base can be correctly prepared the implementer should gain acceptance and support from the committee. Then the base starts in the policeman organization.

The achievement of community policing counts on the policeman agents who are to blame for applying the programs. In essence their mind-set, insights, and behaviors should be considerably altered before community policing can be put into perform (Lurigio p315).
