Phenomenal Woman is against women violence in a society. This poem revolves around the women whose trait helps her in overcoming the societal flaw. In the poem "Phenomenal Woman”, Maya Angelou, recounts herself from her own perspective. He shows us his strong self-confidence when expressing how she feels personally about herself. It can lead us to believe that she does feel unattractive when she describes in the poem "Beauty I wonder where my secret lies." "The men asked themselves what they see in me." It shows that although it is not pretty, petite woman, she is beautiful and can attract attention in any circumstances (Angelou, Paul and Linda, pp. 23-136).
She not only speaks for me, but to speak for all women. Women can do and be anything if they have the confidence to prove it. In the poem, it is for us just that. She tells them that it was about her, and they just think she is lying.
Societal Reflect
Every action she does, from the glare in her eyes, turning in her hips when she walks, shows that it moves around the room as she has complete control. Another place in this poem, which shows that this is when she says it is "flash his teeth ... And delight in my feet" (Angelou, pp. 56-99). She shows her happiness in general, and with who, she is.
