The aim of this study is to analyze the performance of first year students with respect to age, gender and region of students. In this report we examine the impact of student's Maths performance with respect to other subjects. The average score of students in different sujects is also analyze to predict the future performance of Students.
Introduction
The purpose of this part of assignment is to analyze the correlation of demographics of students. In this task the impact of region on age and gender of students is estimated. In this section the performance of first year students is examine who takes the following subjects:
In 1st year the students take the following nine units:
To test the there is any difference in 1st year performance for ppl in diff region/gender/ Age.

Mean and st.dev of first year students performance is mean=.49 and st.dev=.502 and for region/gender/ Age mean= 2.63 and st.dev=3.412. we run a t test for examine the association among the two variables (performance and region/gender/ Age) value of t calculated is = 10.540 and 8.299 df = 117 and 117 simultaneousely.
As p value is less than .05 so we can say that performance have a significant differences in region/gender/ Age or we can say that these two variables have effect on each other.

**. Correlation is significant at the 0.01 level (2-tailed).
The correlation among age group and region (r =-.174, p = .007) a negative value of Pearson correlation is reported in the above table so it can be said that a negative association exists among the two variables or region doesn't have any impact on the age group of students.
The correlation among gender and region (r =0.110, p = .091) a positive value of Pearson correlation is reported in the above table so it can be said that a positive association exists among the two variables or region have an impact on the gender of students.
The correlation among gender and age group (r =-.025, p = .702) a negative value of Pearson correlation is reported in the above table so it can be said that a negative association exists among the two variables or age group doesn't have any impact on the gender of students.
