Riordan Manufacturing is completely owned by Riordan Manufacturing Industries, it is included in the Fortune 1000 enterprise having revenues are more than $1 billion USD.

The development and research of the company is done in San Jose where its headquarters is located. Its products consist of parts which are custom plastic and are manufactured at it plant which is located in Pontiac, it also produces plastic beverage containers which are manufactured at its plant which is located in Albany, the plastic parts of its fans are being produced at Hang Zhou China, Michigan and Georgia. The mainstream customers of Riordan Manufacturing are aircraft manufacturers, appliance manufacturers, automotive parts producers, beverage producers and bottlers and the Department of Defense is also its client.

Employees are the backbone of any business. Every process that is carried out by the company and every function of the company depend heavily on the employees and their productivity. If the employees work efficiently and dedicatedly it leads to higher productivity and output for the company. A company with satisfied and motivated employees can perform much better as compared to another company from the same industry with de-motivated and inefficient employees.

Currently the company is facing the problem of high employee turnover because the employees are highly de-motivated and there is unhappiness from the side of employees, and therefore it is resulting in decrease since the last two years. Many of the employees have left the organization because of these issues, & if there will be no improvement then more employees are ready to leave the organization as well. There are many employees having vast knowledge of the historical operations are leaving the company and this is affecting the profitability and productivity both, within the organization. Several surveys have been conducted which have shown that there is a great decrease in work satisfaction and the organization is also failing in appreciating their employees for their performance. This has created a huge gap, between the employees and their rewards and this cycle is continuing to decrease their morale to work for the achievement of organizational targets. The employees of the company are showing great deal of dissatisfaction towards the organization, this is resulting in the increased employee turnover, which is also increasing the cost of Human Resource Department to hire new employees and has increased the cost of training for the new recruits.
