Introduction

Human resource management has become one of the most critical and imperative concern for all firms operating in today's dynamic environment. Organizations are only as good as the individuals that create them and management skills that influence and direct those individual contributions. Human resource management, rather than being a set of policies, is a set of coherent and strategic management activities intended to make the most of talent in an organization. Those responsible for human resource management in smaller organizations can be in a variety of positions, including executive directors, chief executive officers, program managers, or human resource managers (Ban, Drahnak-Faller, & Towers, 2003). The lack of formalized human resource functions in many organizations probably linked to the constraints placed on organizations because of limited funding for overhead and management functions. These constraints may ultimately limit the ability of many nonprofit organizations to make the most of their human resources and effectively manage legal and ethical risks.

In this paper, we will evaluate the Human resource of a particular organization; we are assigned as the “Business Coach” to help the organization address the impact of the HRM problems that currently exist in the organization. We will also provide a Strategic Human Resource Management report addressing the prevailing issues and the possible solutions that will help with management development at the firm.

Role of Business coach

Business Coaching had gradually emerged during the early and mid-20th century as an instructional process, which used feedback from a competent person to a less experienced. The coach assigned a task, observed performance and then gave feedback, which he or she discussed with the learner, with a view to determining how to do better next time. Effective coaches had the skills of breaking tasks into manageable chunks, pacing learning according to the coachee's ability and providing motivation. They also tried to move the coachee towards greater ownership of their learning, by encouraging and supporting them in defining their individual learning tasks, observing their own performance and bringing their own feedback for discussion with the coach. Business coaching helps the teams to retain productivity. It is an on-job approach to management development, in which the manager, given an opportunity to develop the skills on the one-on-one basis. The purpose of discussing the role of business coach is to clarify the objective of our examination that we will be carrying out in the following section.
