Abstract

Child pornography is a problem of international dimension, which amplified by the emergence of new technologies that have transformed the patterns of production and dissemination of such material. We provide this information to help parents, children, and all our users to know that information and protect, not to the misuse of the data that we present, much less to encourage this type of activity. Advances in the lines of international action are insufficient against the emergence of new technologies that have transformed the dynamics and articulation of forms of production and distribution of child pornography. The UNCRC defines a child as anyone less than 18 years, and this is the convention rules prevailing in the legal and cultural context of the European continent. The production of computer-generated child pornography has sparked a deep debate and legal. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which has been overwhelmingly ratified by the states, describes child pornography as a violation of the rights of minors and requires that nations participating in the international convention and adopt measures to prevent the exploitation of children in pornography materials (art. 34). Also, the Action Programme for the prevention of the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography from the Human Rights Commission for the United Nations and supports the international efforts of the Commission regarding the suppression and punishment of behavior operating children for pornography purposes. However, international efforts to combat sexual exploitation of minors and drug production and trafficking in child pornography are serious obstacles to start. At present, lacks a uniform definition of child pornography, with this lack of harmonization of concepts, data available concerning the production and distribution of child pornography, are inadequate, particularly as it affects the scale of the problem in Africa and Latin America (Anderson 2008).
