Introduction

A child is educated with the attitude of being something in life. His mentors formulate and clarify his motives and ambitions in a clear way. As he grew up, he sought out the answer what he wants from the life. Profession is the way he expresses his desire to lead his life as per his characteristics. If someone wants to be a business man and earn money, it doesn't mean that he is after the lust of money; it might mean that he loves the managing of business and enjoys trading. Similarly, being a doctor doesn't mean that one wants to help the humanity, they might be doing it for the sake of earning the power.

The profession gives a vision to an individual, and the future of a person depends on his/her choice, a rational choice means success in life, but a fallacious one means failure and consequently heart burns. A profession to me does not always constitute a wealth, I know nursing profession cannot provide me with the luxuries of life, but I only want to serve my fellow beings. I got this inspiration from my family. My grandmother taught me that the service of man is a service of God; therefore, I drew inspiration from Mother Teresa and Florence Nightingale. My grandmother visits church almost every day, once I accompanied her and found my inner self to be at peace. I learned many stories of generosity and kindness, but most importantly I learned that god love those who loves his people and serve them with a whole heart.

I even learned that every person in this world is made for some mission. Nobody is here to be wasted. I ask myself what I want to life, and I came up with a weak response due to the background and resources I had. I belong to a minority, entire Persian, and this really affected my life as I have to work hard and pushed me overcome many obstacles to be the best. This attitude, led me to concentrate on “not losing” instead of concentrating how to “win.” I always wanted to do something for the sake of humanity, and the world and I believe serving the ailing is the best way to help people and serve them.
