The paper examines the ethical issues related with monitoring the employees at workplace. Thus, with the development of modern means of communication, in particular electronic means, the issue of employee monitoring in the workplace is of special value to at least several reasons. This is because communication is conducted using e-mail or telephone, including mobile in mobile networks, allows extremely easy from the perspective of employers to be familiar with the circumstances of communication (that call, time and duration of the call, the called and calling number), as well as transmitted content (monitoring of electronic mail or instant messaging). Modern means of communication also offer many additional "features", for example, an employer can determineusing a mobile phone,the place of residence of employee, or using the GPS the route to move a company car. One can also not forget the capacity to monitor employees' activity on the Internet or using the camera system recording the work process. On the other hand, the same means of communication, which enable the monitoring, help breach of confidentiality obligation to which the employee has access to in the era of e-mail to a third party transfer of secret information has become extremely easy.

Introduction

Ethics exists in a multitude of formats from the philosophical and abstract to the realm of applied contexts defined by statutes and codes. All forms vary in their situational importance and some present as contradictory to each other. Scholars and students often find that ethical studies within a selected field follow a similar developmental pattern of moving from concrete, or black and white, to a more fluid shades-of-gray model. This topic takes a closer look at this unethical behavior and the way in which it constitutes a failure of trust. It defines trust and outlines why it is important in the regulation of financial markets and corporate law.
