The company is currently facing an increase in fuel prices and taxes which has reduced its profitability. It is assumed that the company is trying to cut costs by not improving their services which is also a major issue.

In order to address this issue, the cost of fuel and the taxes paid need to be analyzed. Taxes cannot be reduced but the fuel bill can be reduced.

Compliance with Legislation

Currently due to constant changes in the rules laid down for the transportation of pharmaceutical goods. The rules are constantly being changed in order to prevent mishaps that are now common due to an insufficient care associated with handling of the goods

In order to determine the extent to while MISHAIR does not comply with national and international legislations, the rules set by countries in which they operate is required.

Updating Handling Procedures

With new handling equipments being used by air cargo transporters worlds wide, they have become a standard required by the legislations. MISHAIR on the other hand has failed to update the way they transport their customers' goods.

In order to determine whether or not the finance available for this purpose has been sufficiently invested, the financial figures are needed.

Data Recording

The company is not maintaining a proper record of the date related to the transportation of goods. This can lead to goods going missing or inappropriate handling.

Staff Turnover

The staff turnover at the company is quite high. This can lead to additional cost associated with hiring and training new employees. The transportation of pharmaceutical goods requires a lot of expertise. If the turnover is high, it means that the company is losing some important expertise which will have to be created again.

The main solution to staff turnover is not the reduction of the cost; rather it is to decrease the turnover.

Technology

The technology being used by the company should be constantly upgraded in order to bring in efficiency and effectiveness. While doing so, the employees need to be considered as any change in technology can result in a reduction of workforce. The motivation and morale of workers can be affected if some employees are laid off due to a change in technology.
