1. What is a research question? What is a hypothesis?

Ans. The field of ethics, also called moral philosophy, involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong behavior. Setting proper codes of ethics in every field of life is very important as they explicitly define what acceptably right and wrong conducts of behavior is. Some actions may be lawful, but still be unethical and may hurt society in a variety of ways.

Codes help give people guidance and provide a set of rules to make the world a better place to live in. They protect them from exploitation, from discrimination due to race, religion, sex or disability, from deception and from bad treatment. There are many theories of ethics and many codes of ethical behavior. The golden rule is a classic example of the purpose behind all the various codes and principles: “We should do to others what we would want others to do to us”. This can be a single principle against we judge all actions.

2. Which of the research methodologies would you choose to conduct a study? Explain in detail what you like about this type of research.

Ans. APA's Ethical Principles

The American Psychological Association lays down six general principles of ethics which include competence, integrity, professional and scientific responsibility, respect for peoples rights and dignity, concern for other's welfare and social responsibility. Competence

The ability to do ones personal best at their work, while at the same time understanding their competencies and their limitations. This includes maintaining professional standards and exercising careful judgment in all their work related activities.Integrity
