"The Americans with Disabilities proceed is one of the most important laws in American History. The preamble to the regulation states that it wrappings 43,000,000 Americans."(Frierson, p.3) Before the Americans with Disabilities Act (A.D.A.) were passed, employers were adept to refute paid work to a disabled worker, simply because he or she was disabled. With no other reason other than the individual's physical disability were they turned away or issued from a job. The Americans with Disabilities proceed stopped this kind of discrimination by setting up directions and regulations designed to defend individuals with personal disabilities. With a workforce made up of 43,000,000 persons, it is unrealistic to disregard the influence of these people. The Americans With Disabilities proceed not only opened the door for millions of Americans to get back into the workplace, it is paving the street for new facilities in the workplace, new teaching programs and conceiving occupations conceived for a handicapped.

On the other hand, there are no set lists of examples that are considered to be in surplus for an employer to provide, however there are some rudimentary guidelines for them to follow when making this decision.

So now there is no excuse for employers to make about chartering a handicapped worker, regardless of the situation. The first two steps in the supplement of a disabled worker are in place, the hiring and the accommodations.
