Introduction

Children from different parts of the world enjoy the infamous show SpongeBob. SpongeBob is known for its friendly and loveable characters also for humor. The most famous amongst the characters is the SpongeBob. SpongeBob is a sponge who resides in a pineapple which is under the sea. He lives in a town called Bikini Bottom. He works as a chef and spends most of his time working at the Krusty Krab. Krusty Krab is a fast food restaurant that is run by an avid crab named as Mr. Crabs. SpongeBob's also has a neighbor, who is also a co-worker named as Squidward Tentacles. Squidward has a very doubtful perception of life. He is constantly complaining of SpongeBob and praises the clarinet and other arts. SpongeBob resides with his best friend known as Patrick Star. He is a starfish who has little intelligence and sleeps extensively. Mainly in the episodes, SpongeBob and his best friend come up with an idea, act on it and it leads to consequences. SpongeBob's friend Sandy Cheeks who lives in Texas joins SpongeBob in their adventures. SpongeBob is targeted towards children, but it is also liked by teenagers and adults mainly due to the kind of humor it has and the philosophical references that the character uses at times.

Interactivisim of the media

In this era, where media is at its peak interms of convergence and interactivism, now there is a blurry line that exists between the producers and consumers which is termed as contemporary media.It has merged the concept of entertainment and education.The producers are trying utmost to reach to the consumers through 360 degrees communication.
