The study focuses on the materials and methods used in the fabrication of fixed partial dentures (dental bridge) in dental laboratories in Cardiff and Croydon, United Kingdom. Different materials are used for different fillings depending on their cost, durability, and the condition of the tooth. Usually in dental surgeries, the most common materials used for fillings are Amalgam and composite. Fixed implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation for the edentulous mandible has been extensively described in the literature. The fixed-implant supported prosthesis can either be screw-retained or cemented over the implant abutments. Impression materials and trays Impression materials and trays are important to provide a quality cast which shows the detailed of the anatomical structure of the oral cavity. Few studies were conducted during previous years regarding impression materials, techniques and their failures.
The overall nature of the conducted research was a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methodology while the research has a cross sectional nature as the responses are elicited at one period of time. The information collected by the survey was presented in the analysis chaper in graphical format. The graphical manner of presentation allows for ease of study and to understand the difference in the methods and material used in the two different locations. The study uses a survey to elicit information to have a better idea of the material and methods used in the two localities in the UK. According to the graphical survey, there is an .obvious and noticeable difference in the graphs and responses of the two localities. Additionally the Chi Square test shows a significant vale due to which we reject the null hypotheses.
