Dean of Admissions Marilee Jones resigned on Monday after it was found out that she misrepresented her learned credentials. Jones, who had been engaged at MIT for 28 years, evidently not ever obtained an undergraduate degree, regardless of supposedly asserting both a master's and bachelor's qualifications on her résumé.
Jones's resignation came after an enquiry arising from a tilt by an anonymous caller, who interrogated the validity of Jones's qualifications, said Dean for Undergraduate Education Daniel E.
