Introduction

In organization people are coming from different workplace, they belong to the different backgrounds, cultures etc. diversity is important to understand people recognizing their individual differences. Diversity refers to the exploration of those differences and work for the betterment of the organizational environment. Many types of problems tend to arise at the organizational level if people do not understand each other, mostly these problems arises when people from different culture were working together in the same workplace (Jackson 2006).

Types of conflict

There are different types of conflicts tends to arise in the organization, when there are people working together who belongs to the different race and culture in an organization. There are two main types of conflicts one is Task conflict; and the other is Personal conflict. The task conflict refers to the conflict which involves employee disagreement about any issues related to the organization. Whether the personal conflict which arise due to the negative or annoyed behavior of any employee working in the organization. There are some main types of conflicts mentioned below:

Background differences

When there are people from a different background working in an organization, means they have different life experiences, educational background and they differ in the political preferences, these changes make them different from each other, and this can also cause conflicts to arise ate the work place. It will become difficult for the person to maintain professional relationship if his beliefs and preferences are not accepted by the others (Hayles 2008).

Interdependence conflict
