Learning and Development Challenges Faced By Organisations

Introduction

Nothing in this world is constant; the only thing constant is the change itself. Everything and every being are going through a constant change. Let it be the civilisations of the world or the life style of its inhabitants, nothing is in its original form as it used to be in ancient times. As time progressed, so did the civilisations, lifestyle of the inhabitants, the processes and procedures of executing certain activities and most of the communication or procedure of conducting the trade or business. Many researchers have attributed the constant change which the mankind and his surroundings are experiencing to the emerging technology in every era. The trade expansion to the other regions required extreme endeavours in not only the logistics but also the setup of the business; even then the success of trade in other region bore no guarantee. It is courtesy globalisation that not only the logistics are advanced but also the ease of first fully analysing the market, its prospects and then pursuing to setup the foundation there, has been viable in the success of international business expansion (Cameron & Quinn, 1999, P. 23).

The internationalisation or the globalisation of the business has brought in evident changes in the organisational set up as well as its working. These changes in the organisation where have played a vital role in accelerating the progress and performance, at the same time have placed a heavy ...
