Being a missionary school its leadership comprises of a Father and a Nun, both working in silent co-ordination amongst the school staff. It is majorly autocratic and partly democratic. Imposing decisions where they are utmost necessary for the development and betterment of the organization as a whole and ignoring completely, the inconvenience caused by the imposed actions on the teaching and non teaching staff. On the other hand, those decisions and actions which have no, apparent negative effect on the organization are discussed, blended and tailored to; please everyone who is a part of the institute. Thus, it is very ideal for a school environment to be headed by a semi-flexible leader who would do anything in the interest of; a positive, systematic change, pleased and happy workers and exemplary workplace dynamics.

Experience, training and background

Being the heads of a complex theological unification organization the church both of the leaders is well trained to run and govern a body in peace and harmony without damaging the interests of another directly. For over 2 decades spent heading a church under them, they are used to move forward without displeasing anyone involved. Considering the possibility that they might have been incapable of leading, the entire fabric of church-hood would have fallen apart in the country. By observing the unity in the Christian minority residing in Karachi, we can very well grasp the enormous details and precision with which they are molded into the leaders they are now, hence highly capable to head a school properly (Wheatley, 2005).

Are there any common leadership skills among the different administrators?

Apart from the Priest and the Nun holding the fabric of the organization tightly, their subordinates are diffused schematically amongst the teachers, Primary and Secondary heads and the Librarian. The presence of Leadership below the higher authorities ensures proper communication, understanding of the problems from both ends and unity of the structure as a whole. Any gap between these two ends and the misunderstanding grows. Same is the case when the leadership administrating below the higher authorities tries to develop a secondary leadership in charge, creating further distances between the workers and the heads, negating the balance in working, the presence of which is extremely required for the sound and smooth functioning of the organization (Burns, 2003).

Are they effective in each area of responsibility?

The leadership skills of subordinates are highly necessary for the proper functioning of the system. Without its presence, the entire system can collapse irrespective of a highly qualified and able leader heading the group. This is where the litmus test comes.
