The term “Latin America” represents a collection of states located in the South, Central and North America. Every one of these states contains individual economic, political, social, cultural, ethnic and geographic properties. Despites their dissimilarities, these countries have the same origin of politics (invasion by Portuguese and Spain), common heritage of language (Portuguese and Spanish), majority of followers of Catholic Church, and similar dilemmas in international, regional and local affairs.
