About Largo High School

Largo High School is situated at the center of Largo, Florida; it includes classes from 9 to 12. The existing building was established in the year 1957, and the substructure of the school says the age its installation. There are approximately 182 employees and 2184 students. Largo High School is a conventional school that extends special programs with 492 students, entitled Study of Career and education leadership. Largo High School also has programs that keep the students from dropouts, with 125 law students' objectives (Graduation Options: Alternatives to graduation.) Middle class following the class size amendment (Theodore, 2005).

Disciplinary Problems at Largo High School

The acts of situation of bullying or victimization is a situation where a pupil is attacked or becomes a victim when exposed repeatedly and over time, to negative actions carried out by another student or group of students (as). Issues such as discipline or bad behavior are disturbing phenomena that change the running of school life. Violence and aggression may well be a symbol of educational social crisis at the level of family foundation and information involved in fueling the violence and push the child or adolescent to take the path of aggression and destruction caused by compelling reasons such as poverty, population explosion, unemployment, drugs and alcohol, family problems (divorce, orphanage, parental neglect). The notion of respect is so important for students and educators (Dexter, 1988).

When students do not have the feeling of being respected, violence and drug use and alcohol use increases. Moreover, the sense of injustice also causes an increase in inappropriate or violent behaviors. In recent times we hear chilling violence among children and adolescents because of television and we think that excessive hours before a television screen that provides for acceptable violence, is a great danger to future generations. Parents and teachers feel powerless to compete with such powerful media like television, video games, film and advertising. So the makers of television public or private should select their programs for students to see on screen in a better world, to stop believing that cutting someone's head is as ordinary as breakfast. It's time everyone must realize that education is a task for us in the schools. The media can do much in favor of creating peaceful attitudes in young people today.
