Introduction

Interviewing is a method of data collection that is often used by researchers and in particular, sociologists. It gives us an opportunity to learn from others experiences and gives voice to the issues that we have been exploring in class. It will also give you an opportunity to hear from someone who had a different experience with schooling that you did. Often times we use our experience as a frame of reference for things. Interviewing others helps us to widen our lens and to begin to see both our differences and our similarities. The interviewee was asked questions about his school experience as to how many schools he attended. Similarly, question about whether he enjoyed his school life or not is an important part of the discussion presented in this paper. The paper somehow reflects all the aspects. These aspects include the functionalist perspective, interaction perspective and the conflict perspective. The paper will also compare the interviewee's experience with my own.

Discussion

The interviewing is considered to be an important method for the collection of data. The interviewee and his response are therefore important in every respect. The sociologists are using the interviewing method for the purpose of data collection. The research method is the part of the data collection purpose. In this paper, the administrator of school was interviewed for collecting the data on various perspectives of the school.

The paper takes into account the questions regarding the school life. The questions regarding life in school and problems faced by the individuals in their school life have been highlighted in this paper. The questions that were asked in the interview are number of schools attended by the interviewee in his life, the problems faced by the interviewee in his school life and the problems related to the class readings are included in the questionnaire.

The first question that was asked with the interviewee was about the number of schools being attended by the administrator. The administrator replied that he attended three schools in his life that included primary and secondary school, high school and university. Being administrator of the school himself, definitely he has gained enough education in this respect.

The second question that was asked with the interviewee was that of the problems, the interviewee faced in his school life. The interviewee that is an administrator of the school replied that, definitely, there are number of issues faced during ...
