The major stakeholders of the memorial include the Memorial Foundation, Degussa and Government, Jewish community in Berlin. However, global Jewish community is also concerned with the issue. The most important thing to know is that the decision had not been easy for even Degussa and others as there had been a classic dilemma (Hayes, 2007). The architect of the memorial, Peter Eisenman said that he considers the discussions on the participation Degussa excessive. He also expressed satisfaction that now can be built. In addition, the use of graffiti protection and plasticisers - manufactured by subsidiaries of Degussa - was uncovered a few weeks ago. The discovery of the Board of Trustees had split. Some Board members had argued for excluding the Company. Others argued that Degussa had just done on a large scale with the past and is involved in forced labor fund (Ryf, 2001).

No doubt, the president of the Berlin Jewish community, Alexander Brenner reiterated his stance that the Degussa should not participate in the memorial as the company was involved in the murder of Jewish people in World War II. He further said that he will respect others decisions in this regard. In fact Jewish community believes that Degussa needs to cover the pain of Jewish community across the world and should not participate in this burning that may hurt the emotions and feelings on religious ground (Hayes, 2007). However it is also an opportunity for the company to atone for its past actions by openly asking forgiveness from the Jewish community and participating in the construction of this memorial. This would also be an opportunity for Germany to give a universal message of love for Jewish community and solidarity with them.

In fact, it is also important to know that the earlier decision was in respect fallen before those who from existential emotional reasons cannot approve the participation of such companies (Ruthann Althaus, 2010).
